  1. For some more perspective, in America supreme court judges are appointed for life, and the current oldest serving justice is 87 years old. This may or may not be a suitable model for India but useful to know about.

  3.  Bubbly Srinath  I hope that you are right. That will put this event in a different perspective. I just checked and Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad is holding both Law and Technology ministries. Each of them requires someone full time.
