Aside of my skepticism of objectivity in NYT coverage of India, Indian papers have a long way to go before they achieve the reach, the energy, or the level of curiosity of NYT. Not of now, that even of a 100 years ago. Even for stories in India (!), news shops are filling space with foreign syndicated feeds.
