Vibrant cultural and economic ties with each of India's neighbors, with a temporary exception of Pakistan, are vital for a peaceful and a prosperous world, and may well be a key economic engine to drive world growth post-COVID. Governments before the present one thought that all the cool kids lived 5,000 or 10,000 miles away. It is nice to see this government prioritising friendships in the neighborhood.
