  1. This is a big story that deserved decluttering, thank you. Both issues (data and edtech) have urgent relevance to India, and India will do well to study closely what and why they are doing and see if there are ideas that can be borrowed. Communist-capitalist ideological distinctions are a distraction.

  3. India should do something like what China did with Tencent - no exclusive media deals with foreign companies. Outlaw transfer of rights to India-created media (books, music and cinema) to foreign entities, only allow licensing for commercial use.
