  2. MEA should directly address Khalistani threat through statements, not just play defense through denials. They missed an opportunity to say that Bharat takes all threats to the state seriously, wherever they arise. Similarly, missed an opportunity to call a press conference to address the absurd intrusion by Bangladesh to stop mandir construction in Bharat. There should have been appropriate noises about securing the situation and monitoring the situation closely etc.
