  1. The business (literal) of conversions is un-Indian and has to stop. The argument about escaping from caste has long been shown to be fake. This is a national security issue and has nothing to do with religious equality before the law.

  2.  @akhiljames3435  Obviously, that is not a solution. I actually don't know how it is to be done, but am sure that conversions are a problem. Dismantling birth-caste is probably a key part of the solution but that is not something which can be done by force either.

  3.  @akhiljames3435  I want to amend my answer after watching this: https://youtu.be/QPLA5vpFclU. Whereas I previously believed that the state had no legal role in resisting conversions, I now think that there is an Indian legal framework to ban conversions made under false promises.
