  1. Nice story told well, Mohana. I hope you and your colleagues find more such stories with immediate relevance to India. It is not about nationalism, but about effectiveness of time spent in digging up a story. Think of your platform as a vehicle not to spread GK about esoteric topics in the universe, but as a tool to sensitise people to their immediate challenges that need to be addressed, while not losing sight of the universal need to nurture wonder and curiosity. There is a vast number of such challenges in health, environment, learning psychology, etc., and there is also a proportionately large number of people addressing such challenges. Their stories need to be told. It requires the independence of thinking to not be swept up by the topic du jour in the western media, but pick topics guided by enlightened self-interest. If you can influence the career choice of a bright high schooler or college student toward solving some of these problems, that, I humbly suggest, is a worthy goal.
