If I may make a suggestion, 'peon' has its origins in the feudal past and even if the Indian government in its ignorance or laziness carries over such colonial terms, it does not befit an enlightened journalist to do the same.

@DKSingh-wf8tn Thank you. 'office boy' is a similarly soul-crushing term. The use of 'boy' for grown men was common in American history where grown black men were referred to as 'boy' to diminish their dignity.
