  1. Tobacco is a colonial legacy of the Portuguese and about 400 years old in India. Regardless, this ordinance is not aimed at adults already addicted to nicotine - it is about protecting impressional teenagers drawn like moths to e-cigarette flavors such as strawberry and chocolate. Keeping in mind Mr. Gupta's caution about bans, the government should look at the example of New York which is experimenting with banning flavored e-cigarettes.
