  1. A more thuggish version of Shri Mani Shankar Aiyar. This man is better suited as a loyal Kattappa for the Gandhi monarchy than as a truly democratic representative of the people in modern India.

  3.  @siddhanti  Shri Aiyar's corruption comes not from taking money under the table (I have no evidence either way), but it is more of a moral corruption. He espouses grand democratic ideals in quaint language, but his actions are diametrically opposite that. As far as I can tell, his sole purpose in the Congress party is to protect the Gandhis from any attacks, and block inner party democracy. Just as dangerous for the health of any democracy.
