And provide $34 BILLION Per Year of Australian taxpayer's money.

Especially when it was developed by Ernie Dingo and Richard Walley in 1976 especially for a Forum in Perth to welcome South Sea Islanders who DID HAVE a "welcome" in their own lands, and expected Australian Indigenous people to have the same, which THEY DIDN'T, so one was created. Some indigenous people now claim it is "250.000 years old" hahahahahahah.

@BarbaraMacDonald-bq1lb Hope you and THOUSANDS of others start a State Petition (easy to do) to have the laws changed back.

And costs $ Millions per year from Australian taxpayers, just "topping up" the $34 BILLION already paid to Indigenous peoples hundreds of Organizations, that rarely reach those in real need.
5
It was a "political promise" so has no validity, same as Albonnochio and his "transparent Government" hahahahaha.

Don't forget to lodge a formal complaint about a "ceremony etc." that was developed in 1976 by Ernie Dingo and Richard Walley to welcome Islanders to a get together in Perth W.A. It is NOT, as claimed, 250,000 years old at all. Hahahahahahaha.

@creditelectric Except many state Governments of course.

The "Welcome to Country" was developed by Ernie Dingo and Richard Walley in 1976 specifically to provide a ceremony to South Sea Islanders to a Perth gathering. It was done as these visitors all had a welcome ceremony of their own and expected one from Australia. This craziness that it is a "250,000-year-old aboriginal ceremony" is just an OUTRIGHT LIE. It has been adopted as a money-making activity by the "woke" who just love to "top up" the $34 BILLION Australian taxpayers already provide to "select" individuals.

So "no concern" about the $ Millions of taxpayer money spent on an "ancient ceremony", that was developed by Ernie Dingo and Richard Walley in 1976..?? Wake up.
2
And was created by Ernie Dingo and Richard Walley in 1976.

Logic has never been a strong part of "wokeism".
