  2.  @howardsz1502  Sure, but Hon Cols used to be Generals, etc. who could support the unit unofficially via their contacts. Now they seem to be reduced to quasi mascots.

  3.  @howardsz1502  Yes, but its not like half the MOD were his/her old class mates or similar is it? Their role is to have a 'quiet word' and support the unit when official channels pose "issues".
