  1.  @michaelreiss4456  So I think what your point clearly demonstrates is the utter ineptitude of a Tory government that has been hellbent on looking after its own at the expense of the country. Just as was the case with the deadly mishandling of the pandemic, they have been repeatedly warned about our crumbling energy infrastructure as well as the need to address global warming. Obviously the longer that we privatisation and delay, the more difficult and expensive the solutions are going to be. I do not profess to have any definitive answers but I am absolutely clear that a positive outcome can never include climate-change denial, new gas and oil licences, delay and succumbing to the dark forces of Tufton Street with their destructive self-interest and greed.

  2. Do you understand that when this gas comes on stream in 30 years time it will be sold on the open market. We do not own the gas. 80% of it will be shipped across the world and we will buy it from the foreign owned companies at world market price. Our energy prices will go up and not down.
