The system was rotten and blatantly nationalistic way before Trump came along,...that attitude was there during the preceding 6 to 7 decade's, yep, even during the Bill Clinton and Barack Obama years. Trump just turned up the volume a bit more then usual and this is the result, he filled a gap and found his niche, but it already had a very fertile ground there in which to grow. In fascist Germany of the 1930s kids were made to salut the Reichs flag everyday before class and sing the 3rd Reich's anthem. In every class, on every building and on every car the swastika flag waved while little German kids were told over and over again that Germany was the best country on the planet and the German/Germanic people were supreme to all others.⬅sounds familiar to most American's if you replace German with American;). Don't be shocked that you get the same outcome.

Still there are people whom deny his people's right to existence and it's the umbrella of safety he enjoys in that Republic to keep him from harm but instead of him appreciating that fact and honoring the memory of his own ancestors suffering he outright denies another group of people's need to sanctuary from persecution. If congress has these powers how come Harbour Group (a lobbyists agency) can so easily subvert those for one of their main clients, in this case Saudi-Arabia and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman in perticular or Bibi Netanyahu's rightwing nutjobs ? If the US congress is so vital to US political and national stability is it so easily infiltrated by these Lobbyists, why no checks and balances on that ? No accountability leads to cleptocracy easily followed by nepotism and quickly turned into a nationalist fascist deeply corrupt draconian state as a result. The field was right open for Trump to plough though without any real resistance.

  36. If even a little bit of real pressure is placed on these individuals they cave. It's all bluster and posturing from the Trump's, Hillary's and Pompeo's of this world. When real pressure to comply to the rule of law, or for them justify their non compliance with the processes of the law is challenged by the authorised institutions or individuals that represent those institutions, they cave and all the bombastic shenanigans go the way of the dodo and disappear. So, if the government and the people working for that government actually did what they were mandated to do by the people, these types of bombastic populist politicans wouldn't have a shadow of a chance to get as far as they currently do irl. The system is broken, t'was never a good system to begin with. Hence Bernie Sanders is right, and it should be replaced to stop these types of people from perverting Democratic processes in the future.
