Sounds oddly familiar,...like the British libel law's after Rupert Murdock's shenanigans ran rampant trough the UK. It has resulted in an severly overreaching law that stifles decent from even a reputable news outlet like Privat Eye that's a fact based investigative journalist news outlet constantly harassed by UK political Elite because those don't like the truth being reported about them aka censorship, a book comes to mind 1984 read it. Obvious fake news, yes stop that, but i'm sure it will turn into a law and practice that doesn't stop fake news but will only stop real news on politicians being reported by good journalist.
