Britain did slavery, it also had a strong abolitionist moment, it was the first global empire to ban slavery and accept slavery as morally wrong, it then used it's powerful navy to put an end to the slave trade, that you completely missed this part.

I also missed that after British Empire banned slavery and freed the slaves they took a huge loan from banks which they finished paying at 2015!, that's almost 200 years loan payed to free slaves.

@ashantijordane1862 Right about that, slaves didn't get any payment, but that's a huge amount and a step in the right direction to end slavery without expecting a revolt, considering the amount of money required, it is the only way government would accept the budget and compromise, they ended paying the banks it in 2015, considering how hard it was that time, they still managed to do it. What misinformation?, everything said is fact based. Also you never mentioned the part that the British navy played to end the slave trade, both in Atlantic and Indian ocean.
