Nigeria's fertility rate is 5, population grows by 2.5% annually, meaning population will double in 30 years, resources are the same, and resources are going to half, cost of products is going to double, it's not the government's problem, it's demographics.

You're right that population is strength, but you missed the context, the larger the population, the larger the economy, provided that there is sufficient resources, if the population exceeds the resources you've shortages, unemployment...

@bigboyindhouse8142 If you count city states, otherwise, also you are wrong about China, Nigeria has twice the population density of China, and in another 30 years it would have 4 times the density of China!, if the trend continues, then in another 30 years it would have 8 times the density!, Oil is not spread evenly around the world, that's why tiny Kuwait has more oil than Nigeria, and I've said nothing about the government, I'm talking about share of resources, population grows, resources remain same.
