@rosebenna1094 If that's their belief, then they scramble the brain and put it in a jar, meaning, they would be non-functioning in afterlife, and it's only the rich that could afford mummification, meaning that the poor have no chance of afterlife? Also why all the treasure in the tomb unless they are looking for returning back while they have all their wealth!.

If this becomes a trend, then in the future there would be living poor people and all the assets would be in the hands of frozen dead rich people, Imagine working for dead people who owns everything!
