@shmeckle666 There is no such thing as a Syrian government. There is a ethnic minority ruling Syria with help from foreign governments. Would be like Mormons ruling the United States with Canadian backing. Then when the American ppl rise up, they are called KKK or whatever the equivalent to Salafist militants is for America.

@shmeckle666 let me give you a little wake up call "Liam" In uprisings, moderates never fight. That is a myth from tv. You watch too much YouTube or tv, because I can confirm you neither speak Arabic or been to Syria or have Intel on Syria. When American civil war happens, it will be your kkk, militias etc who will do the fighting...not you soy soaked moderates....You basically claiming ethnic cleansing took place and the demographics of the place changed. You are right, all the weak minorities numbers are hit. Christians mostly, but also Alawites, who have to sacrifice the most to keep their tribal chieftain Bashar in power. Infact there are reports Alawite numbers have been halved since 2011 and Christian numbers decimated. There are now Shia mercenaries settling there with Bashar backing. These are Ismailis and Twelvers from Iran Afghanistan and Pakistan...they are not alawaites but since Alawite is a Shia offshoot, there is some solidarity...but some Afghani Shia will never be Syrian as he doesn't even speak Arabic. The migrants were the people who could afford to leave. But the overall demographics of Syria didn't change...it is still 80% Sunni Arab
