As a young teen, we , my sister and I would do chores at our house, go a block over do chores and help at grandmother and grandfather's, then go next street over to grandmother's Mother ( our great grand mother and greatgrand father's home, chop wood for fireplace, wood stove, run errands etc..!! As my grandmother would say, keeping " you busy, away from devilment ". we went camping, fishing, rodeos, young people's orchestra concerts, church school, girl scout functions, community activities. ❤
