  1. Some of this topic reminds me of the story of Henrietta Lacks. Before research boards were developed, medical and scientific researchers were taking liberties, sometimes with the good intentions of finding a cure, sometimes with really bad judgement, sometimes just because they could. Why can't we use the research board model to evaluate and regulate A.I.?

  2. "A switch in time saved nine" Perhaps it's time to reread some history about FDR's conflicts with the SCOTUS, and how that got resolved to save legislation with basic worker protections that we take for granted today.
