@mpls1982 He never attacked them or punched down on them. This is the problem, you can't talk about Trans anything in an honest and open way without being attacked by people like you. As a progressive I feel like the whole T issue is keeping us on the fringes and its bad for the progressive movement.

@mpls1982 I am a progressive and I'm sick of the T issues. It's not enough to have equal rights they want to be off-limits to any and all criticism. It's a meme at this point and you can't see it then BOO F'ING HOO.. Keep complaining about Dave Chappelle.

@samus598 We live in a world where most people still believe in things like a God so I'm not offended that people want to believe other completely unprovable things like being born the wrong sex. My problem like with Religion is having that belief imposed on everyone else. We don't take people with schizophrenia, assign them an identity then tell them all their fears of paranoia are real just so they feel "normal" its ridiculous

@mpls1982 Maybe you are just unaware but just today Netflix employees staged a walkout over Dave Chappelle special. They are demanding that the special be removed. I personally believe there is a TON of transphobic nonsense out there perpetuated by the Right but this isn't one of them sister.. Wake up

@samus598 Then why do they want the show canceled? Because stating that every person on earth was birthed from between the legs of a woman is somehow an attack against the identity of trans women? Its a 100% true statement. There is this pressure from the trans community that everyone has to "play along" with their identity crisis because that makes them feel more normal. And frankly, no one is obligated to do that. I would do it for someone in my personal circle but to try and force everyone to just accept this as reality when its not is no different then people pushing religious beliefs on me. It's exactly the same type of pressure.
