  7. F-16s won't really change the situation to much, they are good aircraft for their time, but against the more modern Russian Aircraft and AA systems they are nearly as vulnerable as the other Ukrainian aircraft.

  9. NATO training means very little honestly. The reason is that these men and the whole system they have been put into (The Ukrainian military) Is still fully entrenched in their old ways of fighting the proto Soviet style. Yes these troops where taught to use NATO equipment and given NATO training but that for was only for a few months, It takes year to learn a new traditional and to keep to it. And the thing is when under pressure and stressed people will fall back on memory training which in the minds of the Ukrainian troops is still mostly the soviet style or Ukrainian pre NATO method. I think Ukraine is being quite cold but calculated though in their probing attacks/ recon in force moves. They're sending the more expendable and little training Civil defence and conscript troops to trigger Russian minefields and defensive positions, and so taking the casualties instead of the more limited and valuable fully trained, heavily equipped with NATO equipment/vehicle troops. It's cruel but logical.

  12. You do realise that sometimes there is no place you can outflank around right? Sometimes due to terrain and positioning you have to go through a hardpoint, especially to get to more critical targets.
