  1. A third point: the AUG is not an AR-18 style short piston stroke system, it's a tappet system like the M1 Carbine and F2000.

  2. Not exactly, but they do have a lot of similarities, as they both (and the F2000) have progressive triggers with sears that are tripped by push type transfer bars.
