Actually once AI really gets going that will likely no longer be true. Imagine an accounting AI which can replace an entire office of human accountants, for the price of the software. No salaries, no 40 hour work week, no vacation time off, no healthcare and even no physical office.

@bruincatjove24 How would I know? But somebody better think of something quick, because the new reality is almost here. And I don't want to see humanity thrown on the scrap heap.

@calvinminer4365 If AI is already affecting a highly creative field like screen writing, how long to innumerable other skilled fields? Probably not long.

The writers are the carnaries in the coal mine. AI will affect jobs in virtually every field of employment, ending many of them. Humanity cannot rely on corporations to save us from what is coming, they only care about their bottomline and stockholders.
