  1. Lone Star Ticks (the vector of Alpha Gal) are the sprinters of the tick world, and unlike Deer and Dog Ticks, they can live on sunny, mowed lawns. Believe it. That is where I have been bitten by them.

  2.  @MeganCarolan  Anywhere a rabbit or robin can go, that is where they might be. Especially the nymphs. That is the life stage I have been most bitten by, about the size of a lower case 'o' from a paperback book.

  3. They can be on your mowed lawn also. That is what makes Lone Star Ticks different from Deer and Dog Ticks. I didn't read that somewhere. I have experienced it first hand.
