Who is responsible for poor conditions and backwardness; Bengal was no : 1 historically ; Today after many years of ruling by communists , corporates have turned their back ; Bihar , orissa , chattisgarh , assam have huge natural resources to be exploited ; Thanks to Dr.Reddy , Andhra had become flagship on pharma industry ; Thanks to english speaking community ( generally ) , Investments came into Tamil Nadu alongwith large coastlines and ports ; Kerala is for tourism and travel and natural environments; Maharashtra is commercial capital ; Gujarat is strategically located in the west ; Rest of the states have to plan for their growth ; I am told UP produces Sugar which is not at all competitive in the world market ( heard in the you tube ) ; Punjab and Haryana wants MRP to retained ; It is easy to blame congress / Modi and his BJP in the centre ; They are drowned in Defense , forex , EXIM , Infrastructure, etc ; Respective States have a role to play for Growth with a balance on welfare ;

@giridharnatarajan842 On any issue let us not start brahminical bashing ; Jayalalitha was a typical brahmin who ruled the state for more no of years than Kalaignar; More over , Let Tamil Nadu set a bigger standard for itself and raise and share the benefits ; Never compare down below and be satisfied ; Anyhow , immediate requirement is to come out of Covid crisis and back on track to normal life ;

@karthika560 Regarding China , The chinese women in international Business / Trading arms of manufacturing companies / Logistics / Contracts etc speaks english with chinese accent ; Without that female corporate human resource , china will be in dark age ; Anyway let us stop comparing us to china because we have social and political freedom beyond all limits while in china nothing doing ; Regarding India , if we have english communication ( a skill i suppose and is reserved for convent educated ) one can go up on the corporate ladder ; Well you can go without english as per one’s choice absolutely ; But he / she can land up in Politics ( or ) work as a labour / clerical staff with minimum wages ; English / any other Language is an extra skill to be learnt in the corporate world ; Do not quote any isolated celebrity persons ; Everyone can not be celebrities ; The father of the nation Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was a barrister from U.K ;

@karthika560 i mentioned english is an extra skill in the market place ; English is a perceived image ( or ) otherwise , it is in vouge ; If you feel only technical skill is adequete and mother tongue is enough , please be done with that ; Even you and i are connected by english only here ;

@giridharnatarajan842 If you want to give credit to dravidian rule it is your choice ; Again , the past fifty years of rule is shared between MGR , M.K , Jayalalitha; Whom you will give , is upto you ; Also at centre , Congress was there for major period ; Narasimha Rao opened up economy; That apart , Today Tamil Nadu is having problems thats beyond repair ; Corruption at all levels , Large debt , cinema , Tasmac etc ; Even votes are grabbed by offering freebies ; From bad to worse ;

@giridharnatarajan842 in one of my earlier comments i stand by periyar for his neutral , unbiased concern for the society ; Anna also can be included ; Later leadeship is involved in high level corruption , institutional corruption , extortion , liquor samraj , and other unlawful activities; They do not need any credit for this ; It is the spirituality that keeps the people calm on seeing these atrocities but there is a limit ; Otherwise , things would have been different; Mr.Stalin has just become the CM and is a good person because of his long experience; My best wishes and great growth for TN;
