Tamil language is having long history with large literary work ; no doubt on this ; But like mutual funds disclaimers , past history / pride is not a gurantee to future performance; But unfortunately dravidian parties main Trump card is language to chase away the national parties from the state ; I do not know when tamil nadu will join national mainstream ; Right now public suffer ;

I am not here to support (or) oppose u r views on BJP or other national parties ; Tamil nadu is heading for a disaster with debts mounting and debt servicing ; freebies , cinema and liquor had become culture of a state which was highly skilled , forward looking on growth and major investment centre ; With Dravidian parties trying to destroy the heavy industries, infrastructure, ancillary industries employment and technical skills are lost ; Let us not look at the north and say their standards are poor ; Let us demand more from ourselves, improve and be a role model for other states ; For this if more autonomy is needed continue the ideology of autonomous state ( manila sua atchi ) but compete with other states in a healthy fashion; Have clear goals only to be achieved ;

Tamil public has no issue in learning hindi ; But Hindi is a political play here ; Thats the way the Dravidian parties decimated Congress in 1967 from which it never recovered its pride ; They give communal colour to BJP ; But BJP is trying their best by identifying with thiruvalluvar / kamaraj / MGR etc ; Also even someone learn hindi , they can speak as it is not spoken ; Leave it to BJP ; They bring Tamil Nadu into mainstream which congress had failed to do so ; If congress and BJP both try they will become power centre in tamil nadu leaving the corrupt dravidian parties high and dry
