In India , any Potential Sports will be converted into Business and then a Gambling alongwith fixing matches ; Finally it will end up in money laundering with support of powers that be and some of the dirty charted accountants; It seems Track and field events had no such potential and so gasping for breath ;

@10mes22 i agree ; But professional sports need lot of patronage alongwith patience ( Like Navin Saab is doing for hockey team in Odisha ) ; International Sports is terribly competitive; At the end if there are no medals , it is loss of energy , efforts , emotional upsets for few days ; In just a fraction of second , investment, hardwork , training everything gone ; There are other attractions such as bollywood , Cricket with lot of money involved ; Can anyone really find opportunity in Such dicey game
