Therefore you have rationalized your self into seeing non-existent external threats in order to tell yourself that what you want to believe is right and everything the experts tell you is wrong. Unfortunately for you, this has also made you an easy mark for predatory grifters like Trump who are exploiting you by selling you false (but feel-good) affirmations in return for your undying loyalty.
