  1. I never ran a large company but I was in the top slice of large corporates & I did found & lead as CEO an SME. I did it be because it needed doing & I was the only candidate who was placed to do it. I did it just one time, for six years, and it the sustained effort required nearly killed me & left me with damaged health. Free choice. We did achieve remarkable things together, an experimental medicine, and we did all become wealthy. Most of us retired early, me included. But if there’d been a lower paid option to have been second in command, I’d have taken it. I’m a man.

  3. Ms Newman on at least half a dozen occasions accused the interviewer of saying things he had not said. Even here, he thinks carefully before telling her he hasn’t said that. It’s amusing.
