@babarian34 As I understand it, the owner actively wanted Misha to drive his modified car, very fast, with him as passenger. Given that, whatever happened is not claimable from Misha or anybody else. The description is of a genuine accident. Like almost all accidents, two or more out of limits events coincided. Braking defects in a less critical situation may not have led to a crash or to a less severe crash. A strong compression may have been absolutely instrumental. Obviously, very high speed was a core factor. It should be recognized that driving at very high speed was an objective by the owner from long before Misha encountered the car.

@johnnycoolness My understanding is no insurance applies to first party losses. Racing, pace-making, limit testing are expressly excluded. I don’t know if any kind of 3rd party losses are insured. Probably not.

@LabMonkey-k2j Now, that’s silly talk. There appears to be no dispute that there was a mechanical failure of the braking system after a heavy compression.
