It's not though really is it. And the guys main argument is transwomen aren't women, which is transphobic. Genital preference is fine, what he said was just plain old transphobia.

Secondly if that's true, what about people who have lost their penis etc. Are they non human then? Thirdly so a transwomen with sex reasignment surgery is a women to you?

@stevenmara1025 If the reason was because you wanted a child, they didn't have the genetials you like or you weren't attracted to them of course it's not transphobic, as your issue isn't them being trans. But if it's due to some irrational revulsion souly because they are trans than yeah that'd be transphobic, I think everyone would agree that must be, because there is no reason why.

kokam2 well if you notice I was meaning that in the broader point of why we should explore the opinions we have and not mindlessly go along with the first thing we think. Especially when a question of why causes this much of a problem. They brought the topic up in the first place, I didn't ask them. Again I ask what am I forcing? If that's all it takes for conversation they obviously weren't married to the idea in the first place and it definitely wasn't me who did anything. He's said transwomen aren't women, if you agree with him you don't support trans people.... If you support trans people which no doubt you do (and you were just confused) the answer isn't I won't date a trans person, it's just you have a genital preference and it isn't a big deal.

All I asked this person to do was tell me why, all it requires is some simple self reflection, are you against that, because that's very juvinile. It's obvious they haven't thought about it, they can't even give me one reason why. If you don't ask people to think about their opinions, you've created a world of mindless people, look at him.
