9:27 just a little adendem it depends on the era mid 1700s it would have been quite good to have 12 pounders as the main armament on a frigate, whereas standard by Napoleonic times was 18 pounders, but as you say it was always above 6 pounders in the Times we are talking about.

Just looking at how powerful the guns were how often did navy's train on the guns and fighting tactics? Did it change and become more/less from the Vasa onwards to WW2?
