Both this war and the war in Ukraine are of course horrible, however if you look at civilian de aths, by mid next week not even a month into this conflict it is estimated to exceed that of Ukraine civilians after over 600 days of war and that's from the Russian government who disregards human life. Casualties as a whole are already higher in gaza and that was a few days ago.

The fast plains of gaza, the Gazan rain forest 🤦‍♂️ the place is all city. Not to mention Israel itself said Hamas is concentrated in Tunnels which means that hitting apartments blocks is just k illing civilians.

  21.  @GloryCarrier22  I would caution against claiming they are not as accurate as we have no clue. Russia is very into it's artillery and seen as American counter battery radar in Ukraine has lost duels to Russian counter battery radar not sure if they are more accurate

  22. It's not hard to jam GPS espcially for a military power like Russia, the reason most armies don't do it including Russia, is because they are using GPS as well.

The US doesn't really have many long range options and Ukraine has a lot of short range ballistic missiles (long range compared to artillery), it probably doesn't use them much, as the launch site is much easier to spot for Russian Aircraft and the missiles are more likely to be taken out by SAM'S with their longer distance.

They tell people in one of the most densely populated places on earth to move out and at the same time block their exit from the city. Blow up their homes for no reason but revenge.

  36.  @turbolevo8703  it was caused by austerity, austerity caused a downturn in the economy (the reason we almost had a double dip recession). This meant that debt had to be taken out to cover the short fall due to the less tax revenues from the stagnant economy coupled with tax cuts. If it was borrow to invest, what was invested in, go on. What major investment occured last 14 years to double the debt... Let alone claiming borrow to invest is not nonsense, is utterly laughable. If you had a mortgage and house went up in value you have proved yourself wrong. I could go on but it is so baffling that you said that, I'm going to leave it here.

Your second paragraph is nonsencial, you've jumped the type of tax, to well not prove your point. Do you know you keep on doing this, you did this in the last comment as well. Your third paragraph says nothing. As you are acting like the world started in 2010. The top rate of tax has dropped dramatically. From 1945 to 1989. Now do you want to have a discussion on the very basic economic merits of raising tax on the wealthy or are you going to continue to obfuscate? I find it baffling that you would admit to trusting the IFS, which does not publish who funds it and is constantly critiqued by actual economists. For it's very basic errors and focus on well as you have shown, statistics devoid of any substance. Rather than what that means in, historical, society, economic or political impact. Even basic economic realty such as marginal propensity to consume are omitted.

Bazos Internet, national Grid, roads all provided by the government Bozos would not have single dollar without them. Let alone the economic reality of Marginal propensity to consume, in which the less you have a higher percentage of your income you spend, whereas the richer you are the less you spend.

The average tax burden is all taxes combined not just income tax 🤦‍♂️ talk about misinformation mine was 5% if we pretend all 45% was collected and your one wasn't even the same topic.   45.  @xxwookey  I have based it off information I know and other tidal units that work very similar. it would be impossible to cost more than nuclear that's just a fact. How can you invest in something and no so little the tidal range across the entire UK is huge. There is lots of opptunity, let's be Frank you didn't invest did you. These are basic talking points they would have given you in brochures etc.
