  1. The British mainly did night bombings, it's very likely to be an accident. But the Americans not just did more daylight raids, the British never even bombed Switzerland, when in a harder situation. It is either was done purpose or american pilots are terrible at there job and it most likely both.

  2. There are two options these were purposeful or Americans are terrible pilots and when you look at other incidents in ww2, maybe it was both.
