I love all the airchair generals in the comments. The training these guys got was from NATO, it's based off ww2 training and with a smattering of tactics for a war against soviet, not insurgents, it's what they train everyone with from Iraq too Arganistan. The rambo and blind shooting although odd, was fine as it was just to pin down the enemy, we even see the signal before hand for other troops to move up or in the case of the BTR-60 voice-over, this kind of thing happens all the time in the US army, normally that gets deleted if a journalist caught it though. The arguing in the street is uncouth, we used tents too muffle the noise... They definitely had an intelligence problem in this case, that should have been sorted out first. They would be good troops but that's never going to happen if foreign training is not improved or a company like STTEP or Executive Outcomes could come in and help out.
