@archimmes Critism, please, what are talking about? The guy said "Muslim garb looks ridiculous", "it looks stupid", "religious clothing is silly". This is not critism this is just thinly veiled insults and opinions. I think it's worse and more detrimental to society, to completely dissolve the meaning of critism. To act like if someone does not take your 'critism' they are in the wrong and spineless. Rather than the simple fact of the matter, what is anyone meant to take away from "it looks stupid" there is no critique there is no pointers to improve the clothes (which is quite wide seen as he said every single religious clothing). But yes your right because I can't respond with "I will take on your eloquent insightful observations", I'm a spineless pussy.

If anyone thinks this is not ignorant he said all religious clothing looks ridiculous. All! just hijab alone have such a wide range of colours, embroidery and styles you can wear them in, it is ridiculous to claim they all by virtue of being hijabs look silly.

@bunceman4613 look up the stats of how many people are forced to wear head dresses it's very small. If you'd ever met a Muslim you'd see this but your ignorance is why you think how you do, your ignorance is why you have had such backlash. But don't be disheartened, be glad you have learnt.

You didn't say "I dislike it", you said it is ridiculous, silly, stupid etc. When you have to change what you know you said it's time to stop kidding yourself.

@bunceman4613 oh right. I know you dislike it the point is you dislike it for it's origin and nothing else that is bigoted. Also the language you used was stronger and more divisive than just I dislike it. Right I'm not going to touch the rest of your comment all I can say is once you grow up you will see how well frankly stupid and ridiculous it is to call religion wrong it's just an untenable position in reality. Especially as again it shows your ignorance does this include Buddhism, Taoism, etc?

@bunceman4613 what does that even mean if "religion is real" do you mean as a concept, or are you saying all relgions are one homogenous blob or your not ignorant enough to think all relgions believe in Gods are you? Correct the entire point of the conversation is your small minded ignorant comments on niqabs, hijabs and Burka's, I will leave it at the female dress as it is obvious you have no clue about any male clothing in Islam. I think you have quite a misguided sense of yourself if you think you are at all equipped to convert anything. Also can I ask why you ignored everything I said in my last comment?

@bunceman4613 you are very slippery you are. Disliking something for nothing other than they are religious is bigoted. The reason I was mentioning these relgions like Taoism, shintoism and Buddhism (not Hinduism) is because these are athiest relgions again showing your total ignorance on the topic. For example yin and yang is a Toaist symbol is it now silly, stupid and totally ridiculous, see it isn't is it unless you are a bigot... Your last sentence is very very weird, there are relgions with no creation of the universe story whatsoever and follow whatever current science says on it. The most embrassessing thing however is the big bang theory was created by a priest and was first dismissed as being to Christian (which is the same as Muslims as the bible is part of Islam as it's the same god in both relgions), so yeah your sentence is again ignorant.
