The number 40 million in poverty is quite misleading. The official poverty level in the United States is set substantially higher than other countries have theirs set at.
13
It is. Turn your back on God and you will see this poverty get MUCH worse.
10
@stevemcgowen It is not "funny" at all. It is common knowledge that farmers and rural people are more conservative. And it is the big cities with the crime, drugs, gangs and poverty that make a state blue.
6
Probably not. We borrowed all of the money that went to Ukraine.
4
That is a very idiotic comment. (And obviously politically motivated.) This is not about proving your politics are right. Grow up.
3
It costs money to house people in jail. In fact, it would be cheaper to give them a free house.
3
California, Oregon, and Washington have the most homeless people by far. Then there is New York City . . .
3
Homelessness does not come under federal jurisdiction. It is a city responsibility.
2
It is just a common urban myth that they heard somewhere.

@Zhengc Let me make a couple of points on what you said: 1. God does not bless people who do not give. They dry up and blow away. When someone gives, God increases their borders. If you want to prosper, giving is not optional. Proverbs 11:24 There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. Proverbs 11:26 The people will curse him who withholds grain, But blessing will be on the head of him who sells it. 2. Potholes are not a federal responsibility. 3. Homeless are not a federal responsibility. 4. Veterans should be a federal responsibility. But no one has ever addressed that. 5. The middle class is not disappearing. 6. The American Dream is open to everyone. 65% of adult Americans own their own home and 7% of adult Americans own their own business. It is righteousness that makes the American Dream possible because God blesses the righteous. If your children are righteous, God will bless them. Judgment is reserved for the wicked. 7. If we are righteous, God will pay our debts. 8. I have been giving all of my life. I own my house and it is paid for. I own my car and it is paid for.

The capitalist system is not just American. All of the countries in the world use it, excepting only Cuba and North Korea.
2
There are 30,330 homeless people in Poland right now, today. What are you doing about it???????
2
God is going to judge you. You are not going to judge God.
2
Yes. It is difficult to be homeless when you are imprisoned in a reeducation camp. 🤷
2
They tried doing rent control in New York City and it caused tenement slums.
2
Under federal law you cannot consider race when hiring for a job or for housing. It has been the law in the United States for 60 years. There is no "systemic racism."
2
Weaponizing currency is not a fair term because we only use it against bank robbers.
2
For one thing, these states do not have the level of poverty that the video claims they do. But Secondly, these are all agricultural states, and that is the explanation for the low income levels -- not politics.
2
@angelcitystudio Actually, the red States already pray harder. The red states praying is what is keeping God from destroying the whole country. The blue states should join the prayer group.
2
@Violator225 We do take full accountability for our communities. I do not "make excuses" for anyone. Grow up and stop going around making up fake issues to harass people about.
2
In the middle are 346 million people living normally.
2
About one-third of the federal budget ($2 trillion) goes to social programs to help the poor. If it didn't, we would have tens of millions of homeless people like some other countries do.
2
Actually, we do have a socialist healthcare system. Someone has been lying to you. We started socialist healthcare in 1963.

This is one of the most fake, most misleading videos anyone has ever produced. He crosses RURAL state average incomes with the high cost of living in the CITIES. He compares the national average wages that includes states that have super-high real estate costs with people living in a super-low real estate cost state. He calls out states that do not have a minimun wage law for using the EXPIRED federal minimum wage of $7.25 when companies in that state are voluntarily starting people at $16 an hour. None of the pictures match the states. I live in Arkansas and have traveled in all of these states and they are nothing like what the vidoe says. It is very easy living in these states on a national average income because the real-estate costs here are just super-low. Affording your rent is the biggest consideration for poor people, and you cannot compare the rent of Oakland, California to the rent of Huntsville, Alabama. There is no comparison. I think he is trying. But he needs to stop criss-crossing all of his data and present it in a more scientic manner.

Get a roomate.
1
We already have that. All of the homeless people and poor people get a debit card for food. You can use them at any grocery store.
1
@sediiin7424 Of course it is true. I would not tell you something not true. I have one of the debit cards for my groceries.
1
@sediiin7424 I have one of the food cards.

Santa Fe, New Mexico.
1
You can have capitalism and socialism concurrently. But the problem with socialists in the past is that those governments have always murdered huge groups of their own citizens. They have no moral compass.
1
The United States does not "wage wars." We get involved in ongoing conflicts and stop them. Those buildings in China are not paid for and they are causing a real estate market collapse.
1
The election is in November.

Trickle down economics was not a failure. It actually worked very well and boosted the U.S. economy for many years. The failure comes along later. And it is really a result of so many Americans turning their back on God. When people turn their back on God, God makes them dumb. The Bible says that. We do have retirement for all workers. It is called Social Security retirement insurance. We also have IRA retirement savings accounts, and 401k company retirement accounts.
1
Two-thirds of America's homeless people live with relatives. But when people are having mental health problems or drug and alcohol related problems, sometimes it is not possible.
1
Homelessness does not fall under federal jurisdiction. It is a city responsibility. And where are the people? 🤷
1
How can Europe be a colony of the United States when the United States started as a British colony? Stop lying. ✋️ Incidentally . . . Europe already has much more homelessness than this. Look it up.
1
We did not give any money to Zelensky. We gave money to the Ukrainian people. We did not give any money to Netanyahu. We gave money to the Israeli people. Stop lying. ✋️
1
Having a homeless rate of 0.17% does not signal the "end of an empire."
1
Because the rent is higher than the welfare check. If they are getting one, they need to move to a state with lower rent.
1
@DitNg516 The amount of Social Security that a person gets is depending upon how much they have paid in over the years. 46% of Americans have a retirement savings account to supplement their Social Security check. Social Security only covers people who are disabled or retired. It does not cover healthy people who are able to work. Welfare only covers single women who have children. It does not go to people without children.

No hay falta de dinero.
1
We do not dream about you.

Que Quieran
1
No.
1
This is not a U.S. government responsibility. It is a city government responsibility. And the citizens themselves have a responsibility to do something.
1
No it is not.
1
We voted to help Ukraine and Israel. And when you are in trouble, we will vote to help you.
1
Usually we wash up in public bathrooms.
1
Did you watch the video? The state of Illinois spent $2 billion last year.
1
Americans do not want socialism. Our pockets are FULL of capital. Capital buys privilege. Americans live in the largest houses in the world. That is privilege
