  17.  @AnupBhatt  The movies tend to show certain specific things about America, but leave other things completely out. Hollywood sits right on the Pacific coast and those people tend to be out of touch with other parts of America. And all movies are fictional. So the producers chooses the kind of food that works into his story. Almost every American meal is built around a "main dish." The main dish is always some type of meat: steak, roasted beef, corned beef, meatloaf, pork chops, fried chicken, turkey, sliced ham, bacon, eggs, hamburgers, baked salmon, fried salmon patties, sausage, spaghetti with meatballs (Italian). The vegetables are "side dishes." You get 2 side dishes and a salad, with some type of bread or roll. All vegetables are rotated around and they are not always mushy. As a side dish or salad, you can get mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green beans, shelled corn, corn on the cob, tomatoes, dry beans boiled, lentils, peas, carrots, beats, lettuce, spinach, squash, brocolli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, sauer kraut, eggplant, celery, cantaloupe, watermelon, pears, peaches, cottage cheese, macaroni in cheese, tuna salad, egg salad, potato salad (or about anything). Casseroles are popular, where you throw a bunch of this stuff into a baking dish and bake it all together. We like Mexican-style rice which is flavored with tomatoes. We like rice with steak gravy poured on top. We like chicken stir-fried rice or vegetable stir-fried rice. We do not have rice for breakfast every day. Sometimes we have a bowl of milk and cereal made with wheat, rice, or corn grains processed. A favorite breakfast is hot biscuits covered in sausage gravy. Scrambled eggs. Omelettes. Two fried eggs with bacon and toast. Coffee and orange juice. Our population is international. So one day we may order Italian, another day order Mexican, another day order Thai, another day Chinese, another day hamburger and fries, another day traditional American (european). It is quite a blessing to have so many different cuisine options. 😎👍🇺🇸 ✝️

  31.  @A_QuestioningSoul  The United States constitution prohibits any type of religious test for any public office. The United States is 67% Christian and we consider it a Christian nation. However, the 33% of non-christians would take an opposing view and claim that it is a secular nation. Christians usually get elected because there are more Christians voting and the Christian candidates share our basic values. But Americans actually elect the best man for the job. President Barack Obama was a Muslim. Pakistan is not really a U.S. ally. We TOLERATE Pakistan. Pakistan is a Muslim country and Muslims HATE the United States. You will hear Iranians in the streets chanting "down with America – the great satan." We TOLERATE that. And Pakistan sometimes harbors anti-American Muslim terrorists. We have a lot of trouble with Pakistan. The United States is very pro-Israel and we supply Israel with LOTS of weapons and jet aircraft. The Palestinians are Muslims and they are AGAINST Israel and the United States. Muslims hate Christians; Muslims hate Jews. (Muslims can hate just about anybody . . . they are psycho.) It was Muslim extremists who flew jet airplanes into the World Trade Center (you thought it was Christians???) If you will study your western history, you will find that Muslims and Christians have been fighting each other since the seventh century. Christians have never been fighting with Hindus – only with Muslims. Now in the 1971 war, the United States had a prior relationship with Pakistan. But the official United States position was neutrality. We did not get involved in that war and we did not supply any weapons to Pakistan after it was known that Pakistani civil war was imminent. Now regarding the (one and only one) warship incident: During Pakistan's civil war (having been going on for some time) Indira Gandhi decided to invade Pakistan and enter Pakistan's civil war. The United States government thought it was a bad idea for India to get involved in Pakistan's civil war. After India lined military up along Pakistan's border, the American president Richard Nixon ordered an American aircraft carrier to enter an Indian port. That is called "a show of force" and the president was hoping to dissuade Indira Gandhi from invading Pakistan. That was a reasonable thing to do. After India invaded Pakistan, the warship was no longer useful and the president ordered it to be withdrawn. Russia had nothing whatsoever to do with it and the part about Russia is fake made-up Russian propaganda. The common American does not consider India a "third world country." No one here uses numbers with India. But you could fairly say that we consider India a "second world country" because it has a lot of general poverty and no industrialization. Also, Americans consider a caste system to be oppressive and very backward. Now about these kidnappings: There is an article about it in Forbes Magazine. But other than that it is not getting any media exposure. And the reason for that is Americans do not like Pakistan, do not care about Pakistan, do not speak the language, have no relatives in Pakistan and do not follow anything in Pakistan. Pakistan is not interesting and we NEVER get any news from Pakistan. But Americans would be aghast if they knew this was happening. Last month there was a Hindu summit conference in Washington and a lot of important Hindu leaders met with the United States government. So you need to bring this up with them and they will talk to Washington about the kidnappings. The organization you need to talk to is called the Hindu American Foundation.
