Blaming any president for the price of gas or domestically grown or produced groceries or most things that don't have tariffs on them is silly, but there are a lot of silly people out there. As far as sympathy for Trump voters - that ship sailed a long time ago and went down with all hands on board after Jan 6th.

Working together is generally the best solution. Only serving the wants and desires of one side is typically a sure path to bad results and eventual failure.

It won't just happen in Texas. Hispanics have lived in a lot of the states for generations now and they could all be at risk from some "you speak English real good for an illegal" overzealous ICE agent.

@Howdy1957 as I wrote "...or most things that don't have tariffs on them..." The thing about your comment is that Trump started it but Biden continued it, and as such both men share a responsibility for the part of our current economic situation being effected by those tariffs, even if there might be a good reason for those tariffs depending on who you ask. Biden hasn't rescind Trump's tariffs during his term because China didn't meet it's part of an agreed upon trade obligation, even though there was pressure from the American business community in 2022 to remove them as companies struggled with inflation and supply chain disruptions while at the same time labor unions urged Biden to keep Trump's tariffs in place. As such, Biden is also to blame for the continuing problems to those parts of the economy that the tariffs with China are effecting. Tariffs can be a complicated subject and why I specifically excluded them.
