I've enjoyed Sam in the past but this was just painful. His fixation on all things woke and trans was really overblown.

People who are upset about "woke" reminds me of people thought that separate but equal was okay and that we shouldn't spend so much time worrying about women's rights.

It's like when some people thought that separate but equal was an acceptable solution or that we didn't need to make a big deal about women's rights.

Definitely not funny. And I'm sure there are some exceptions to this, but I think that most anyone who is smart that is taken in by Trump's shtick either isn't really all that smart. Or else they agree with his beliefs and, like Trump, they are fundamentally deplorable people even if some of the time they act nice in order to function in society. When you get them alone or with like minded people that mask drops and they'll say the most horrible and degrading things.

Kamala lost because of the price of groceries and the way the media normalized Trump and MAGA while holding her and Biden to much higher standards, not because of trans issues. Border security played a part too, but with the voters that swung the election or stayed home, I suspect it was mostly about high prices.

I'm so over the constant drone that the election was lost because of trans-rights, anything that can be labelled as woke, and the Me Too movement. Those things are Right-wing bugaboos but not what the majority of voters were upset about. It was that old saying "it's the economy, stupid". People were frustrated by high prices and they made the party in power pay for it. The border was also a problem, but I think the price of groceries was the main issue. I also blame the way the legacy media reported on the two candidates, holding Biden and Harris to one standard while normalizing Donald Trump.
