Decent people care what Trump and the other MAGA conservatives do and say, but there are and have always been a lot of indecent people out there who are, for lack of a better word, deplorable in any variety of ways. They praise, support and defend Trump and the MAGA politicians as they do and say all the awful things they do and say.

  2. And to be clear - there are indecent and deplorable people from both the conservative and liberal side of the political spectrum. For example, anyone on the left, and there are some, who defend the actual attacks made by Hamas on October 7th and that were supported by an unfortunately large number of Palestinians in Gaza, and even assisted by some of the civilian population, are supporting and defending something wholly wrong and indefensible. Likewise, anyone supporting the tragic response by Israel and the IDF are also supporting something that is wrong and largely indefensible.
