  1. I'm generally not a fan of religion but the only ones I really have a real problem with are the fundamentalist ones. Christian, Muslin, Jewish, Hindu, etc - doesn't matter which franchise, it's the absolutist authoritarian dogma that I can't abide.

  4. In addition to what has been written it also has to do with money and them being a minority group of "others" in a given country. It's always easy for authoritarians somewhere to demonize a smaller group of people who have their own cultural and/or religious practices. It's why it wasn't just the Jews that were put into camps or that only Jewish people that are attacked by far-right political and religious conservatives in places like Iran or the United States.
