  1. People were wide awake last time - and they still are. It's unfortunate but there are a lot of shit people around the globe who are content being scumbags and assholes who vote for (or otherwise support) similarly shit people to be their leaders. We're talking about Old Bankrupt and his Trumpublican trainwreck here, but it's happening with Boris and Brexit, Papa Putin, Bolsonaro in Brazil, Bashir, Duterte, the Kim's, and the list goes on. Even if the West gets woke, the rest of the world isn't.

  2. And the Right - especially the Trumpublican base - love it. They love seeing those liberal snowflake tears and watching the left loose their composure and react to having our faces rubbed in their mess. As long as their team won this is all great fun to them. Hell, if you can beat your opponent so badly the it makes them cry then that's just a bonus.
