Either she was out of her mind on a variety of substances due to underlying mental and physical problems (in which case someone who actually cares about her needs to take her fucking phone away from her so she doesn't do insane shit like this), or she knew exactly what she was doing and thought she could get away with it because she felt emboldened in the current environment. Either way, I don't know if Roseanne is a racist or not. I expect she is to some degree since most everyone is, but she has a history of using racial slurs against people she feels are "the enemy" and she was probably being racist in this case too. I'll add that I think Samantha Bee needs to go too. There are differences between the the cases, but that shit needs to stay on HBO and in the Netflix comedy specials. If something of us does carry on after we die and gets to look back on what's going on back here then the spirit of George Carlin is doing a spit take somewhere and yelling "the C word? Are you fucking kidding me? The shit these kids get away with today."
