  13. It can’t happen or it’s really hard when the society is very multi-ethnical and religiously diverse. The thing special about Saudi, at least outside Jeddah, is that it’s a very homogenous society so people understand each other and share similar values.

  18. Silver Bullet, I think that’s a good point. He might have done it because he’s heard that smaller towns are more conservative which is true, but I’m Saudi and I assure you there was no need of doing that. Foreigners are treated nice anywhere in Saudi. It’s engrained in our culture.

  21. Yes, because smaller towns are more conservative and women don’t leave houses. But in other cities like Jeddah, women are always out with men. And a lot don’t wear hijab and dress like Westerners.
