  4. He brought about the end of the USSR and set out plans for an interface with the rest of the world. He tried to do it too fast and failed. He was vilified by the people who followed and particularly Putin but the real catastrophe that followed the collapse of Communism was not of his making and I think he is wrongly condemned by the East and by modern Russia. I have seen, at first hand, the way propaganda works in modern Moscow and I am well aware of the way someone can be painted out of history and held up to make a point. I was dubbed with fake words in a couple of interviews on a mainstream tv show: when I became wise to the practice, I managed to record the original and compare it to the screened version so demonstrating the deceit. As nothing was done to rectify the problem, I eventually gave the story to the BBC who had heard rumours but had no evidence. We need to have a range of vies /opinions and agree on the goodwill and support of others. Sadly. We are entering an age when we are judged too quickly on what we say or what others believe we have said.

  11. In fact if you listened to the debate, it was clear that Glasgow took a substantial number of migrants and the SNP MP Alison Thewlis went on to a point of order where she made exactly that point- I did not realise I had not noted that in the video. You are quite right

  12. it is my idea that we pay people who do the work more and bureaucrats significantly less. Instead, we are increasing bureaucracy (Brexit has increased paperwork) and not carrying through the Brexit promised which fuelled the referendum debate

I told production shortly after my diagnosis so their silence is calculated and disappointing, exactly as you describe. that said, I have received lots of messages from other performers on The Circle and from performers on other Reality TV shows. It has been wonderful to hear from all of these lovely, generous people.
