  2. I was put in Twitter Jail for saying that Nate Silver should be tarred-and-feathered. I appealed. My appeal was rejected. My account was eventually restored, after 12 hours. First infraction, now they say I'll be permanently banned if I mess up again. I'm terrified. For reasons apparent and maybe not-so-obvious, this seems like a good place to put this comment.
