  1. A loss of AI should be the least of everyone's worry. If China was to invade and take TSMC over, and was unable to operate the plants so the flow of chips stopped, then the stuff that those chips go into wouldn't be made either. A result is shortages of consumer goods like cellphones, EV cars (probably most ICE cars, too), consumer computers, and possibly some military equipment?

  2. I'm wondering why the worry about smaller chips and faster phones when the physical size of the phones are starting to get larger and larger with each new version. I'm still using a flip phone (4G), I've found it limits my tech usage but improves my engagement with the real world.
